Sorry, I didn’t see the difference before and after the gas was reduced. If the gas remains unchanged, 1500lxp 1.5 points 3000lxp 3 points. This is fair. The situation is 1500lxp need 3u gas 3000lxp need 30ugas. but 7000lxp need 300u gas and only get 7.5 points. Do you still think it is fair?
And mint a linea name gas 0.01u 1 point is it fair? Even after the linea team announced Q1, a large number of people continued to mint linea name. Is it fair?
Bonus point base on my assumption and it is not the final one, I just want to cover all aspect from community feedback. Anyway, thanks for your time and I agree with you about removing linea name from the table. Let me know if still any concerns
I think he only propose the concept. And about the numbers, just hypothetical, just relax. We just want to show to team the concept/tier system/bonus criteria so that they can consider.
Great job, man. It’s almost similar to what I thought. And in my opinion, I hope you can add a little extra:
Because the private testnet has 1 point, the person who receives Voyage NFTs (not buying) will get 1 point.
And because the conditions you give are very reasonable and difficult for bots to achieve, so as not to harm early and loyal users, please add 1000 LXP for 1 point and 500 LXP for 0.5 points.
This will be more complete. Thank you, brother.
i like the criterias and your system
Not sure about the points but it can change based on teams data.
Thank you for your time and efforts
Please do not post multiple times about same thing. You can continue the conversation with whatever refinements of your feedback/ideas/suggestions you may have in just 1 topic.
Yes, it is absolutely obvious that they are lobbying for their own interests and do not want to participate in the life of the community.
It’s quite good proposal. However, card should be deleted
it’s double of another topic
Hi guys, I am Dragon!
This is my second post in the Linea forum, this post I will go more detail in $LINEA airdrop eligibility and distribution specifications. You can find my previous post at protocol design forum:
Firstly, I want to emphasize “How important the first Airdrop would be”.
What is the purpose of Airdrop?
Tokens will be initially airdropped via transparent criteria meant to be as fair as possible. It can never be perfect and a few people will be upset so we should have a goal and then follow it. The goal is to spread out ownership to a large set of loyal users and early users.
Why is it important to prevent Sybil accounts?
By receiving an outsized share of the $LINEA airdrop, Sybil accounts can lead to concentration of voting power and undermine the decentralized nature of the Linea DAO. By preventing Sybil accounts, the Linea DAO is able to ensure that the initial token distribution is as fair as possible.
_For LXP users:
POH system was great but not perfect so I suggest team to apply a threshold of minimum of 2000 LXP to make it better. I chose 2000LXP because it was very easy to achieve and It can’t be achieved by joining a single campaign.
_For LXP-L users:
To prevent bots from taking advantage of the airdrop, an anti-Sybil rule should be established:
If an airdrop recipient’s wallet providing liquidity shorter than 7-days period, the recipient is disqualified.
Secondly, I will show you a much more detail in $LINEA airdrop eligibility and distribution:
_For LXP criteria as below table:
_For LXP-L criteria as below table:
_Bonus allocation:
A bonus system should be used to determine the number of bonus tokens that airdrop recipients can claim. Criteria will be as below:
Tokenomic in assumption:
In general, well deserved reward will be given to right people and few people will be upset. So, a loyal program after TGE should be made and LXP of ineligible users from the first airdrop will be included in this program.
Please note that the whole post is my proposal only, you can give me your thought by comment below.
This is amazing detail post, thank for taking your time. Hope the taem will look into this post
That makes a lot of sense; we can filter the bot.
This way is fair for all. I love it. Hope airdrop soon.
Very detail and reasonable. And the Bonus allocation is the great idea. I have the suggestion, we have 3 big main net campaign include defi voyage, linea park and culture. If user join all of them, they will get 500 bonus. If join 2 campaign, they will get 200 bonus.
Good points, what a fair tier system!
This is a detailed post, and I appreciate the time and effort you’ve put into it. I think it might have been better to share this in the post you previously created to keep the information and opinions organized.
The difference between LXP and the LXP-L reward pool seems a bit small to me. As I mentioned in your earlier post, someone brought 80M for just 11 days in July, and with the LXP-L earned during that brief period, they are already among the Top 10 wallets. To distinguish between those who provided liquidity for 10 days and those who supported the network across six Volts, adding a bonus system in the LXP-L section that increases rewards per Volt might be more appropriate.
As the team mentioned, LXP is much more valuable, and I think its share in the pool could be slightly increased.
I also have some points to address regarding the bonus reward criteria:
-
Since we don’t know the number of participants who meet the criteria you’ve set for this pool, the reward amounts you’ve allocated to them might be misleading.
-
There are two bonus criteria that reward the same community. For instance, someone who participated in the Galxe Voyage event receives rewards from two different criteria. Additionally, we already received LXP rewards for the NFTs we acquired during the Voyage event, and these NFTs themselves had monetary value as rewards.
-
There is no criterion in the bonus rewards that serves community projects. As Linea, no matter how advanced our security, technology, or culture may be, these won’t mean much without a community. For this reason, allocating a share to supporters of ecosystem projects, as I exemplified in your earlier post, would be a fair approach.
for the NFT criteria, you can see that he said that minimum 5 nft will get the bonus. Maybe that the compensation for some guys who buy many nft but the logarith formula quite reduce it’s value
Lol what a proposal that is designed to reward heavily less than 1.7% of Linea users and throwing peanuts for the 98.3%. Imagine Linea team being that ignorant to do such useless design. You want less than 7000 users to earn each between 2500$ to 9000$ while the rest barely get few bucks? POH was made to filter sybil accounts and they cooperated with openblocks to filter more sybil based on onchain criteria so they will be fair with the distribution. Now you want them to punish those who endured all those filterings and did what they were able to do in those tasks and voyages? Not everyone is jobless and full time crypto to do nothing than doing all the tasks and voyages so chill mate. Linea team are much smarter than that. They need to onboard masses not to make a few bunch rich for clicking buttons without putting 1$ at risk
A very average proposal for several reasons:
The entire proposal is based on the fact that the only contributors to Linea are those who participated in the LXP or LXP-L campaigns.
The reality: The LXP and LXP-L campaigns had a huge marketing impact, which is beneficial for Linea.
However, wallets that were active on Linea only during the “farming” periods of LXP should be excluded. Therefore, it’s essential to identify the users who provide the most value and are most deserving of rewards, from the perspective of the Linea team.
- The first layer of the rewards should consist of LXP and LXP-L participants.
- The second layer of rewards should include the hardcore believers: the communities such as FOXY, EFROG, Linus, who have been a net positive for the network by being active throughout the year, whether during campaigns or not.
- The third layer of rewards should target those who engaged with the network periodically. For instance, minting an ENS on Linea, minting specific ConsenSys NFTs, completing the Sovs attestation, etc.
All these activities help distinguish between those using Linea purely for LXP incentives and those who are genuinely involved and invested in the ecosystem.
If these criteria are not included, the true communities and hardcore believers will be regarded as ordinary farmers.
I highly appreciate your comment
