Proposal for $LINEA airdrop based on Contribution Rank for LXP Holder, Conversion rate with a max cap for LXP-L Holder and Ecosystem Partners

Hi, Good day all,

I’m Silaen,
I wanna to share a proposal for $Linea Airdrop based on Contribution Rank for LXP Holder, Conversion rate with a max cap for LXP-L Holder and Ecosystem Partners.

Assumption:
Total $Linea 10,000,000,000
% of airdrop 20%
Airdrop 2,000,000,000 $Linea

Lets setup a threshold for a wallet to be eligible for airdrop $Linea at minimum 2,000 LXP, this minimum threshold is required to filtering out bots and also to more rewarding users that have higher contribution to Linea based on proof of contribution that setup by Linea team that we called LXP.

Based on data from Dune, there’ll be 484,025 wallets, as shown below:

more than 4000 131358
3000 < LXP COUNT < 4000 120578
2000 < LXP COUNT < 3000 232089
  1. Below is my proposal for LXP based on rank:

It’s not easy to everyone to have a dedication by doing all campaigns in Linea, either with their time spent and also with the capital, so it’ll be fair for the Linea team to rewarding the top of the top (threshold 2,000 LXP) with a generous rewards.

  2. Below is my proposal for LXP-L with a max cap and linear distribution with conversion between $Linea to LXP-L is 1:10,000 :

A max cap for distribution of $Linea from LXP-L is needed to have a fair distribution, so $Linea for LXP-L will be more equal.
With linear method and conversion 1:10,000, I also have a simulation as shown below:
A wallet (for privacy, I have not disclosed the address, but you can check it, since its onchain), stake 200 ETH get:

LXP-L 87,802,909
Conversion 10,000
$Linea 8,780
Assumption price in USD/$Linea 1
Equal to USD 8,780
200 ETH with price USD3,400 680,000
APR/ 6 months 1.29%
APR 2.58%

You can see that with linear distribution (and max cap) a user still get a good APR in return in $Linea (2.58%) beside their other APR from the protocol itself for providing LP in the Surge.

  1. Based on two proposals above, $Linea still have some tokens that can be distribute and airdrop for other purpose, below my proposal with red highlight:
20% Token Supply 2,000,000,000 $Linea
Distribute to LXP holder (1,783,925,000) Linea 89.196%
Distribute to LXPL holder (10,566,860) Linea 0.528%
Distribute to TOP 200 project inside Linea Ecosystem (each project get 1,000,000 Linea) (200,000,000) Linea 10.000%
Distribute to Linea Champions (5,508,140) Linea 0.275%
Total (2,000,000,000) $Linea

There’re still 200 million $Linea that can distribute and airdrop to ecosystem partners, each can get 1,000,000 $Linea.
The ecosystem partners is including Efrog, Foxy, Linus, CEX, DEX etc, that in the top 200 in Linea ecosystem (Linea team might have this data).
Last but not least, Linea have their Champions, as a token of gratitude as voluntary and dedication of their works, the rest 5,508,140 $Linea can be distribute and airdrop among them.

That’s all for my proposals.
Thanks guys.

Do you want to create another problem like zksync? Why is there a difference 10x between the top 100 and someone in the top 200? Is that fair in your opinion? We shouldn’t overdo the rewards this is an airdrop, not a life-changing event. That’s why what Arbitrum (The best airdrop ever, according to everyone) did is the best they placed the first 4400 wallets in the same tier, and each of them received about $12,500 at launch. This amount is more than excellent, and I don’t think the people in the top here will complain about it. They will be very happy with that, without negatively impacting the other tiers

There’s nothing wrong to give a generous rewards for the top performers/contributors, means that project is valuing so much the efforts of the top contributors.

The problem will comes when a project is giving rewards to some groups of people that not doing any effort/contributing to the ecosystem, community will thinking that all their effort is not value well.

I dont think so mate. The Big gap between some rank can destroy the justice among community. You can refer to previous successful project - ARB. You can see not a big gap between user classes

Yes the top users deserve all the respect from the community, but what i mean is that there shouldn’t be huge discrepancies because you don’t know all the details. Not all of them are under the team’s radar, and you can’t see everything they’re doing. For example, wallet 101 might have lost his position unintentionally because he didn’t have internet access during one of the tasks . If that happens he will definitely attack the team. Therefore the differences should be reasonable and logical to reduce incorrect outcomes, just like Arbitrum did. The first tier received 10250 tokens and the second tier received 6,000 tokens, which is a logical difference of 40% not 10x.

Its about how the project is valuing its contributors, if they generous enough, I think there’ll be no issue.

Lets say a person in rank 101 will get 10,000 $Linea, and we assumpt 1 $Linea is $1, so that person already rewards well, they got $10,000 already, its a generous rewards.

A person in lowest tier will get 1,000 $Linea with same assumption 1$Linea is $1, let say the gas fee they spent during the campaign is $150, with rewards equal to $1,000, I think they’ll be happy, since their investment already paid off more than 600%.

So that’s how a project valued its contributors.

Or you prefer like ARB, the lowest distribution is 625 ARB with same assumption $1 will be 400% investment paid off and that things you called it justice and valuing contributors with well more than giving $1,000 to the lowest tier?

Same logic as my previous replied to other member in this post, but I’ll just copy paste to replying you:

Simply because Linea cannot print money If they apply your criteria, the last tier will receive $100 or less. That’s why Arbitrum became beloved by everyone, as it distributed its allocations perfectly and satisfied everyone

With the same logic you’re telling, ofc the lowest tier can get more than $1,000 as well,
Also the 625 token for the minimum distribution can be $62.5 or even lower.
Its about the timing they sale the token right?

Except you assumpt that $Linea dont have any future that making the price will be $0.1 even can be lower than that without price increase, if your assumpt like that, so the $100 reason can be accepted, but if not, I dont see any strong reason why afraid the token will be stuck at $100 for 1,000 $Linea.

Hi, Good day all,

I’m Silaen,
I wanna to share a proposal for 33% of $Linea Airdrop to the community based on Contribution Rank for LXP Holder, Conversion rate with a max cap for LXP-L Holder and Ecosystem Partners.

Distribute to Linea Champions (7,658,140) Linea 0.232%

That’s all for my proposals.

I wonder if we will see here in the near future at least something other than proposals for the airdrop format from drop hunters?

mate your suggestion is very good but there are too many sybil accounts and they are lobbying here.so this kind of distribution bothered them.because although they have very little lxp they have thousands of wallets and they are jealous of wallets with a high number of lxp that spend a lot of labour above.

what are you talking about, damn… wallets with >2k lxp are in top 35% of all addresses with POH. Simply start distribution from 2k lxp and the majority of bots will be eliminated. The main goal of any team towards decentralisation is not to kill all possible sybils, but to minimize the negative effect from them and try to catch as many of the as possible within the framework of rational thinking, not anger or greed. Excluding all people under 2k is more than enough to counter the majority of sybils, trying to find them above 2k is harder, since more and more real users appear above 2k

It’s nice, but there must be other criteria.

Thats why, need a threshold minimum 2000 LXP although its not perfect, but at least alredy filtered them a lot

Based on data from Dune, there’ll be 484,025 wallets, as shown below:

more than 4000 131358
3000 < LXP COUNT < 4000 120578
2000 < LXP COUNT < 3000 232089

Yes, there’s 484K wallet with above 2,000 LXP, as I wrote above, I have set such criteria and make rank

Based on data from Dune, there’ll be 484,025 wallets, as shown below:

Edit Table

more than 4000 131358
3000 < LXP COUNT < 4000 120578
2000 < LXP COUNT < 3000 232089

No need, LXP and LXPL itself already a proof of contribution, my new proposal with a generous airdrop of $Linea

As I heard Champions already received some LXP

Yes, LXP for champs already dropped as announced in discord
