I am a long-time member of the Linaea community. I was one of the first testers of the network, for which I received an award. I was a member of the Russian-speaking Discord chat, where I engaged in simple conversations and helped those in need. However, I was moved to the mute list for a single statement in which I wrote “a man without hair.” After I requested to be removed from the mute list, I was banned. The reason for the ban was point 4: inciting hatred, cyberattacks, or spam. my statement does not fit under any of the points, because there was no one who was insulted, there was no call for hatred, and there was no attack. However, the administration made an offensive statement in my direction. I believe that my ban was caused by the incompetence of one of the administrators, as they do not have a sufficient command of the Russian language. My account is sinbka.
You were not banned by any admin. Our security measures were triggered by a filter we have and you used, and it banned you.
Try not to draw conclusions without knowing more about your situation or may seem like it can turn into a happy mistake instead that will remain so.
In order to be able to get back in, only use latin characters in your display name and username. Nothing else.
I came to this conclusion for several reasons: 1) I joined from another account and created a ticket to investigate the situation and remove the mute. 2) The second account was 100% banned by the administrator. 3) As soon as the mute was lifted and I wanted to write something (yes, I also decided to change my name), I was kicked out of the chat. It’s a perfect coincidence, and there’s no way to know the reason because it’s not mentioned.
What’s the name of the other account, so we can see what happened in the backend?
