A year ago, I found the Linea project and decided to invest some funds in the network’s activity.
I spent my time, effort, and money to learn what new projects in cryptocurrency are about — it seemed more interesting to me than just buying Bitcoin.
And now, after a year, I hear the news about the “Linea AirDrop.” On September 10, I logged in to see how many tokens I managed to receive, but instead I saw the status “Sybil.”
I was honestly shocked by this situation, since I could never imagine falling into this category — I really have only one account, and I don’t even have enough funds to spread across many accounts.
The funniest part is that I wasn’t even planning to sell them — I genuinely wanted to hold the coins while the project grows and gains popularity.
Support in Discord told me that I should have submitted an appeal back in February, but the problem is I never even received a notification about having a “Sybil” status, and realistically, how could I have known this might happen?
I truly hope someone here can help me solve this problem — I would be extremely grateful.
I have already answered you on Discord but you kept insisting on it. The answer did NOT change and it won’t change. It’s FINAL. You are way too late for this, there were updates shared with call to action about this at the time it happened and was opened for weeks.

If I’m not mistaken, my contacts were in Linea Park, but for some reason no one notified me that my account would not receive the airdrop.
No one forced you into participating in anything so that they would be forced to inform you insistently about your situation. You chose to participate and we have provided announcements and information all the time, in a timely manner, about developments on Linea. It’s your responsability to follow and see that you’re good with everything that’s going on.
Don’t know in how many ways to tell you that decision is FINAL, it means, it will not change, for anyone, no matter what you say.
Maybe this won’t solve my problem, but the community will see how this project treats its users.
In particular: “we don’t owe you anything” and “it doesn’t matter what you say.”
And maybe someone from senior management will see this and decide that it is necessary to act fairly in this situation. A project that tells its user “it doesn’t matter what you say” will not live long.

the team almost didn’t shave sybils, despite all my articles, almost all the points have been ignored, obviously to give out and to their own multi wallets. But sybils are so greedy that they continue to whine about each of the multiple wallets.

If I were a sybil, I think I would have kept track of my accounts and filed an appeal earlier.
But instead, I didn’t even check my status for one simple reason: I’m not a sybil and I couldn’t even imagine I’d get such a status.
If you even tried to use your brain for just a second, you’d realize that a sybil wouldn’t be writing in Discord, on the forum, and trying to reach out to support AFTER phrase “decision is FINAL”. =)

Nansen had it. I gave them advices a year ago on how to shave sybils in Linea. It’s a pity they lowered the requirements under a team that clearly had their own interests that shouldn’t have been hurt by really effective metrics
When you were calculating all your wallet farm costs before starting abuse, you put the risk on a partial blocking to stay profitable in the end. Why are you being greedy now?
