The long-awaited Linea Token Generation Event (TGE) has finally taken place, marking a major milestone for Ethereum scaling. Built by ConsenSys (the team behind MetaMask and Infura), Linea uses zk-rollups to deliver faster, cheaper, and fully Ethereum-compatible transactions.
With the TGE complete, the spotlight now shifts to exchange traction. On day one, $LINEA secured listings on several major centralized exchanges, including Bitget, Binance, Bybit, and MEXC. Funny enough, I sent my claimed token to Binance, I had to wait 1 hour after trading already began on Bitget, Mexc and others, well I intend on holding, I see a major upside soon.
Linea listing on major CEXs not only provides immediate liquidity but also sets the stage for stronger price discovery and early adoption.
The big question now: how will developers and traders embrace Linea’s ecosystem in the weeks ahead? If adoption follows the momentum of its launch, this could be just the beginning of a long-term scaling story for Ethereum.
