0.012Eth, how genius
Unfortunately, nothing has been heard from Linea’s team about this. Have they really decided to ignore it?
I saw a message on Twitter that they are apparently thinking about this issue. I hope the decision on the cleanup will be positive. It can’t be otherwise
Yes, I saw this message too and the message about L0 lists. I think it is very important to finish the filtering with such a strong move.
Omg, whaaaaat? I looked at these accounts, there are a lot of identical ones and obviously they are all farmers
It’s very funny how they try to whitewash themselves on the forum and in the discord. I hope Linea won’t play along with them.
I read you and can’t stop laughing. What nonsense are you talking here? As if you all have 1 wallet here)))
Do you think Linea’s team is complete idiots?
I think your wallets are on this list of shit.
Don’t avoid the question!)) Do you have 1 account in Linea?))
I see a lot of squealing on sybil chats and twitter accounts, which means that Linea is doing its job of filtering this garbage better than others.
But what about filtering the AdsPower database? Any news?
they say we need to filter out clowns))
Some say ADS Power users are Sybils, but creating 5-10 wallets per person is common practice. The team didn’t classify such users as Sybils. It’s highly unlikely that anyone completed all of Linea’s campaigns with just one wallet—handling hundreds of tasks over 1.5 years with a single wallet would be an odd choice.
Spending hundreds of hours for a $100–500 airdrop isn’t logical. Even Linea confirmed that having up to 20 wallets doesn’t count as Sybil activity.
@Mizzy Are you also confident none of the AdsPower users created clusters larger than 5-10 wallets?
Given the assumption that most users have multiple wallets by default and use them for certain reasons, we did not want to penalize users for having a healthy on-chain presence through multiple wallets. So we moved the thresholds higher and eased the restrictions, intending to catch only larger and more automated operations. We tolerated smaller farmers and primarily targeted larger, more automatized sybil operations, typically those with around 20 connected wallets though this number is not a strict threshold, it was the typical.
Browser Automation. That’s the reason sybil measures are used in first place, And the very reason AdsPower is used in crypto space.
@Thisu I think there could have been farms with a larger number of wallets. But you do realize that only a small portion of wallets using ADS Power were affected? Thousands of other users were not hacked.
The team’s goal should be to ensure that real users receive the airdrop, not the hackers! Although I don’t deny the possibility that hackers might not even be able to steal the Linea airdrop. After all, they only took $5 million, while they could have stolen much more from those same wallets!
I am amazed at the people on the forum who, seeing the information described above, continue to argue with the sybils.
HELLO, WAKE UP
They were hacked through the MASS WALLET INSTALLATION PLUGIN.
Stop coddling those who broke into your house and are trying to rob you.
Hackers continue to steal wallets that were compromised + new ones. Bera’s airdrop was stolen. Still doubting that this garbage should be excluded from distribution?
I have seen messages in chats where scammers urge people to go to the forum to dispute that all hacked wallets are abusers’ wallets. Don’t believe any of their arguments, they are all lies.
Please remove these sly people from the distribution list.
This dirt needs to be cleaned out.
