🐸 Study Hyperliquid

Dear @dfox, You can’t compare and use ARB as a model for reward distribution. Doing so would be very unfair to the users of our project. In the ARB project, users only needed to perform a few interactions, which required minimal time and cost—only about $10–20 USD.

In contrast, the Linea project demands significantly more effort. The tasks are much more challenging, the timeline has been extended (almost two years since the testnet launch), and the costs are considerably higher. Personally, I spent $300 USD to earn 5,800 LXP.

Therefore, suggesting that 10–15% is allocated for airdrops, like Arb, feels genuinely unfair and disappointing.

Tottaly agree. Tourists have come and gone, sybils eliminated and real long term users should be awarded with high allocations

Even Aixbt_agent recognized and promoted it.

Totally agree. Linea team must learn from success and must not make same mistake from failure such as zksync and scroll.

I saw Declan referencing the Hyperliquid experience on Twitter and I hope the Linea team learned something from that

Make Linea great forever - GIB large airdrop
