To ensure fairness and simplicity in the airdrop rules, and to give back to the community for their support, it is proposed that LXP and LXP-L holdings serve as the main criteria for the airdrop distribution. The details of the plan are as follows:
1. Total Airdrop Amount and Allocation Ratio
Assuming the total supply of Linea tokens is 10,000,000,000, the airdrop will account for 18% (1,800,000,000 tokens).
LXP Allocation: 13% of the total airdrop.
LXP-L Allocation: 5% of the total airdrop.
2. Distribution Rules
The airdrop will be allocated based on the timeline surrounding the Cancun Upgrade (4844 Upgrade):
Before the upgrade: Participants will receive tokens at a ratio of 2 LXP : 1 Linea.
After the upgrade: Participants will receive tokens at a ratio of 3 LXP : 1 Linea.
3. LXP-L Handling
The portion of the airdrop allocated to LXP-L can be proportionally diluted based on holdings, ensuring fair and reasonable distribution.
Key Highlights of the Plan
Simplicity: The rules are straightforward, making it easy for all LXP and LXP-L holders to understand and participate.
Wide Coverage: The timeline-based distribution ensures that everyone’s efforts are fairly rewarded with Linea tokens, incentivizing long-term engagement.
Community-Wide Satisfaction: This approach balances fairness and transparency, with an expected 99% satisfaction rate from the community, making it one of the most well-designed airdrop plans in history.
This plan ensures that every contributor’s value is recognized and lays a solid foundation for the Linea project’s community consensus.
No matter when they participated in LXP, everyone has contributed to the project. We can adjust the ratio, for example, 4 LXP : 1 Linea. However, we cannot deny their contributions to the project.
hey rich, all the numbers you see on my proposal are hypothetical. I don’t intend to give myself an advantage. I want to share the airdrop design that i think is fairest for lxp users, lxp-l users and community members
An interesting proposal. If LXP-L adopts a ranking system, then LXP should also be ranked similarly; otherwise, this approach seems quite strange. Only a very small number of wallets hold a large amount of LXP, while achieving a corresponding LXP-L ranking is much easier by comparison.
Understandable, I just find it a bit unreasonable because I’ve looked at the LXP rankings and have participated in the LXP activities for over a year. Thank you for your proposal, which allows everyone to discuss and optimize.
If Linea adopts a linear system instead of a ranking system, it will concentrated the tokens for the top 8 address that own 20b of LXP-L out of 120B LXP-L.
The author of this article simply holds a lot of ETH and has invested a lot of ETH in EFLOG.
This is narrow-minded and stupid writing.
Compensation must be provided to up to 100k LXP-L users.
It is not appropriate to take away the opportunity of early crypto market investors who invest a small amount of Ethereum.
It is inappropriate to only reward the top 17% of LXP-L.
LXP-L should also be distributed to 65% of users like LXP, but isn’t 17% too much?
I think testnet NFT is the most powerful, with hundreds of thousands of people participating in the event. How many people own Efrog NFT? So the T1 level of the test network has only redeemed less than 2000LXP. How can Efrog NFT compete with 6000LXP? Is it because you have so few people? High price? You have to know that the price of test network T1 level NFT at that time was also >0.1E.
At first, I thought you were someone contributing to the Linea ecosystem, but then I saw the EFrog NFT = 6000 LXP. Bro, you’ve maximized the value of your EFrog NFT. I know what you’re thinking, and I know what you want. But if this actually happens, the secondary market will view Linea as a project that supports wash trading. Are you sure you’re doing the right thing for Linea’s future?
Are you kidding me? The top 5,000 LXP users are being compared to LXP-L users ranked between 20k-40k. Could this be any more absurd? Are the difficulties even comparable?
I like this suggestion because it inspires people to contribute more.
But please:
Separate LXP-L because it is different and it should be in a different allocation.
Add thresholds of 500, 1000 LXP… and adjust the score for this section.
Add 1 point each for: points for direct recipient of Voyage NFTs (not purchasable NFTs), users get LXP before Dencun, address used Linea native bridge…etc
This opinion is compiled from my suggestions and suggestions that I read on forums, social networks, chat channels… Hope you will apply them. These can be ways to get rid of bots without harming the original users.
Thank you.
Disagree. Community members have tested and contributed a lot of benefits and thousands of man-hours to the community since its creation. Not in a month, two, three, not half a year, but a year at the time of TGE!
We were and are everywhere, in every corner of Linea. And we didn’t just run transactions for a possible airdrop, but we live it!
Just study preceden timelines in our community.
These attacks are funny, because the NFT supply is catastrophically low. At the same time, each of you is trying to lobby your interests by attacking a small group of highly active people with nuclear reactors inside. This is funny and unfair.
If you say so you don’t know the ecosystem of Linea at all. These attacks are unreasonable and pointless (if you knew the supply and applied some math)
We should reward with a point for the official bridge, the number of transactions, volumen, the duration of months, the current POH, and the domain. The Arbitrum airdrop was one of the best and is still well remembered. It’s worth drawing some ideas from them. Some users did not participate in the testnet and Linea Park and have a lower amount of LXP. Everyone who stakes the minimum amount of 0.1 ETH for 6 months should receive a point. 5 points for NFT is too much I think. Metamask card bad idea. Additional punkt for testnet users
Aren’t you also lobbying for your own interests through forced rationalization? People are only opposing the excessively high weight of the Efrog NFT, not the rewards themselves. Keeping it within a reasonable range is the right approach. Maintaining balance is what should be considered.
we should reward active and organic users. what is the benefit to Linea from those who only earn LXP points but do not use the network at all? Also there are many sybill farmer among them. Linea doesnt have to pay gas fees on them. If you are active member in the ecosystem, you should get many airdrop( toad the genesis, froglets, DTC, NWG, efrogs etc) The team should find a way to reward real organic active users.
You’re retarded my friend, nobody needs your worthless transactions, volume and duration of months. Start thinking out of the box, airdrops are not like they were in 2022, such metrics are worthless
no, we shouldn’t, if you didn’t participate in LXP campaigns you will receive nothing, go farm another chain with your worthless transactions, volume and other worthless metrics
