I am subscribed to several telegram chats, the admins of which call for attacking the community and sabotaging the forum and discord. The goal is to push Linea to abandon rewarding the community and redirect all funds towards LXP rewards, along with the “Arbitrum criteria” they are also lobbying for on the forum and in Discord. Apparently this topic is the work of these idiots.
The eFrog community does not lobby for anything and has not written on this forum for a long time due to the fact that it is filled with “smart guys” like you. The rest of the community doesn’t care about you either. This circus is only entertained in the russian sybil trash groups where you come from.
I ask the Linea team to take a tougher stance, otherwise, you will end up alone with these hungry orcs, ready to fleece you blind, because real participants simply ignore 95% of created topics and messages, it is useless to discuss anything with abusers who have hundreds of multi-accounts
Hi everyone. As you all know you’re all free to share your opinions here but please try to keep it respectful and civil towards each other even when you disagree. There’s no need for name calling
No. You are a regular internet beggar who runs around the forum hoping that someone will feed him. The same guys create similar and many other topics on this forum.
frog bros are the real ogs of linea, all these other communities dont have the spark and loyalty frog bros have shown, the linea mods and admins can justify that some us have even stepped up when linea faced the ultimate fud, helping and calming others in discord and CT
Efrogs are one of the most natural communities I have ever seen.
People think it’s just an nft series, but it’s not, efrogs are the only community that tries to calm people down in the face of almost any negativity.
This proves that they are the basic backbone of the linea (the root of the community).
Even from a purely self-interested point of view.these people kept their NFTs instead of earning LXP-L.frankly I see efrogs as unique in terms of value and I think they are totally og.
Reading all those people protesting against EFrogs is actually funny I guess 90% of my Twitter feed somehow tied with Linea is made by guys with EFrog pfps.
I don’t know what you mean. I am positive to give small reward to frog NFT holder, however, I am totally opposed to give 5% of total token to frog NFT holders.
You bring up fair points, but you’re mixing up different lanes. The LXP path is its own journey of commitment and contribution — no argument there. But Frogs is also a true OG community that has added massive social value to the Linea ecosystem by keeping the community alive and making the project visible.
Let me be clear: those who rushed to buy eFrogs just for the airdrop are actually harming the ecosystem — and we don’t support that either. But they can easily be filtered out. It’s not hard to reward the real OGs — people who held long-term, minted early, or were active before any snapshot.
This suggestion isn’t about undermining LXP contributors — it’s about giving fair recognition to another group that showed loyalty and helped keep Linea relevant. Both groups have contributed in different but important ways to where Linea is today.
Let me ask you this — apart from accumulating LXP, what kind of real contribution have you made to the community? Did you build relationships here? Did you engage, help grow the culture, or make it feel like more than just a place to farm points?
The Frogs community isn’t just about holding an NFT — it’s about identity, visibility, and loyalty. Many holders have supported Linea publicly for months, long before any airdrop talks began. That kind of commitment matters.
If you truly believe Frogs will be worth 3-4 ETH in the bullrun, you’re welcome to buy one — the market’s open to everyone.
Also, no one’s saying every Frog deserves a reward. It’s very possible — and fair — to use on-chain data and simple filters to identify and reward real OG holders, not opportunists. That’s not being greedy — that’s recognizing value in different forms of contribution.
Linea will grow with builders and believers. Both deserve a seat at the table.
I get your point — but let’s be honest, none of the projects you mentioned even come close to what eFrogs has built. FOXY, Memenomics, etc. are cool in their own ways, but they haven’t shaped the Linea culture or carried its social visibility the way eFrogs has.
eFrogs isn’t just another NFT — it’s the face of Linea on X. You see the avatars, the memes, the community energy — that’s not something you can fake or replicate overnight.
And no, buying any NFT with the hope of a bonus doesn’t make you OG. But holding eFrogs for months, engaging daily, being part of the movement — that’s what real OG looks like.
NFT’s should get 1%-2% of supply and Foxy, Zero, Nile, Lynex, Mendi holders ex. should get 1-2%. Either this or 1-3% of supply goes to different nfts and eco community supporters.
