It’s without doubt that creators also contributed to the growth of Linea. It would be a welcome idea to also reward them some allocations.
This will increase the already mindshare Linea has especially on Twitter/X as people will get to talk about it more.
Berachain as case study, they allocated tokens to every creator who talked about them either Negatively or positively. There was less to no fud during the TGE. Linea should adopt this as well.

FYI Linea hasn’t paid a single dime to KOLs since the inception, Thus there hasn’t been much talk at all or mostly negative energy spread by KOLs in last ~2 years. This didn’t change much until the recent Yap craze.
And the community growth has been purely organic.

But should we have a separate allocation for this now? It’s upto the community to decide. But I’d rather have natural mindshare and hype resulted by Linea’s success rather than some synthetic made hype using KOLs
About Bera, I see many users disappointed with the allocation, but this gets silenced by the larger reach by well paid KOLs. This is an actual tactic used by many projects. You can check the current $BERA chart yourself.
Linea also had a “Life on Linea” contest recently to reward content creators btw.
All the twitter influencers I’ve seen so far are ignorant and only promote sybil activities.

But then you need to understand people have been supporting Linea long before Yaps was introduced. Someone like me have been a believer and bullposting about linea since 2023 (2yrs). So its safe to say this is organic rather than KOL stuffs.
And again, you know one doesn’t have to be a KOL to be a creator. I don’t even have to 1k followers, I only post about Linea out of my love and bullishness for the project and luckily Linea community always find it. This is organic.
So many people bullposting about Linea are not KOLs, they are just community members with a very small account and followings, wouldn’t it be nice to reward this people? To atleast prove one doesn’t have to be a KOL or influencer to be a creator and get rewarded for the years of believing in Linea.
This is my view and I hope you understand my point.
And again, I believe crypto market and sentiments changes, and I will always advise projects to adapt as well. Rewarding creators has been a positive concept and it gives motivation to continue being a lover of th4 chain.

I’m totally for including creators and KOLs, even though I’m not a fan of “making the rich richer.” Still, their influence is undeniable when it comes to generating hype. Since Linea’s account is verified on Yaps, I bet they’re already looking into it.
What Berachain paid KOLs felt way too much at the expense of regular users. If Linea can find a balance between rewarding users and creators, they’ll crush it. This should also be “rumored” internally so KOLs start hyping it before TGE!
