Delay of the TGE of LINEA , suggestion for a fair distribution

I would like to bring some ideas regarding the distribution of Tokens:

Consider:

Offchain activity:

-Members who support and participate in unifying or educating the Linea community on discord and X.

-Members of the Linea Forum who bring ideas or objective comments to provide solutions.

For the reward of offchain activities, try to make a fair distribution instead of giving the maximum allocation to influencer accounts, who will then take screenshots and frustrate the small X accounts that do not have many subscribers but who contribute in their own way to help the Linea community on its social networks.

Make a fair distribution.

For Onchain activities:

Consider:

  • The number of Tx
  • The number of smartcontracts
  • The number of NFTs held by Wallet (there are accounts that have minted from the 1st day of the mainnet to today more than 100 different NFTs on the Linea network )
  • The seniority of the Wallets .
  • The number of times the user has supported the network by minting Linea articles on mirror at a cost of $ 2 / mint .
  • Participants in Linea campaigns without LXP distribution, here you have real Linea degenerates because they participate in these campaigns despite the fact that there is no LXP reward to obtain. These users have a high probability of always using the linea network compared to a user who is just content to do quests just to get LXP .

-Participants of games created on the Linea Ecosystem who participate in the different campaigns that aim to create a strong community.

-The number of LXP.

-Roles on Guild

-Metamask users (swap, bridge, stake etc…)

Dude decided to sneak in some idiotic sybil criteria under the guise of the TGE delay news. This kind of crap just rewards bot farmers, who’ve been grinding on-chain activity for ages, hoping for exactly this kind of lobbying.

And what’s this talk about 100 NFTs on the network? Over the entire existence of the chain, there have been no more than a dozen legit ones, give or take. Everything else? Pure garbage, minted just to simulate activity.

I have come across software on sale that farms such criteria. A big ask to the team - stay vigilant and don’t cave in to such proposals. The sybil mafia never sleeps and never gives up. :rotating_light:

90% of these proposed criteria are pure trash. Linea has plenty of real contributors to reward and tons of criteria that actually reflect engagement and are hard to scale abusively. Those are the ones that should be used.

My suggestion to the Linea team:

  1. I urge the Linea team, please don’t list Linea on Binance. They charge high listing fees or big token allocation. Better list other exchanges. Keep this aside for future hype and use Kol for marketing later.

  2. If possible do better reward distribution than Arbitrum, HYPE and Kaito. They allocate a good portion for their communities not just usual 10-15%.

  3. Please at least release checker date to prevent this huge backlash from whole community.

All will be fine , do not worry , Linea will make a fair distribution . I just share my point of view as a user and artist creator of NFT of the network for two years .

@hel1osi , @pinedangel , @strafy , you can also bring your opinion without being emotional and in politeness .

Personally I have a single account with more than 5000LXP , I am already well with it but Linea is not limited to LXP .

What sybil or Farmer multi account will spend his time to party to quests or there is no reward in LXP ? There are only really those who love and want to explore the Linea ecosystem that ventures into these quests. And we must also consider them.

Second, if you don’t know, getting more than 100 NFT in a wallet is not synonymous with being a sybil. If you really participated in the different travel linea and other campaigns , you should normally know that many projects on linea have allowed more than one NFT mining .Other NFT minter during LINEA travel have already allowed some users to obtain rewards .

EX. Personally I minter a NFT of Alphamind , a project on linea which participates in the launch of project on linea . This NFT allowed me to have 4333 $MIND and the TGE will be in late end of Q1 2025.

You should also know that Linea allows you to mint entries in the form of NFT every time they make an article on Mirror .Each entry mint costs about 2$ per mint . What sybil or multi-account farmer will venture to minter more than twenty entries at the time when nobody was sure that he will have a token .

This is just to tell you that a faithful explorer of the ecosyteme Linea can own more than 100 NFT of different artists.

Linea has already done a good job with Nansen and L0 to eliminate the sybils . Let’s congratulate them for that .
We just hope that they will make a fair distribution and the people whose activity shows a probability that these people will use at least the network after the TGE . Not reward people who will dump the token on the first day and ghost the network . All this was useless .

my suggestion to the team is to delete all this trash topics… if they put the rules about how to get LXP and LXP-L they should know very well how to make the distribution. and belive me anyone who have high LXP holding have already a very big collection of NFTs and touched more than 400 contracts on the blockchain, because in the campaigns that took place over time it was necessary to touch everything.

lord_xrp_ripple everything you described does not in any way negate the fact that 80% of the criteria you proposed are purely sibyl and are easily reproduced by farmers-automators. It is worth shifting the focus a little from yourself to the global pool of participants

Initially, I was going to comment on your criteria, which seemed somewhat fanciful to me, especially regarding NFTs, which I consider absurd. Most of them are nothing more than garbage bought to mask real users. However, after reading your second response, I started to understand your point of view better, especially since I have also participated in the activities you mentioned.

The problem is that, in this forum, we find many “experts in nothing.” They mock certain opinions as if they were authorities on the subject and claim that only those who have made significant contributions should receive the airdrop. But if you ask whether they themselves have made such contributions in practice, most are left without an answer.

I have 7k LXP since last year. But does that make me special? After all, what have these people—who take so much pride in their LXP—been doing in the months following the distribution? Are they really making the incredible contributions they talk about? Are they actively participating in the network, as you mentioned? Or are they just waiting for the airdrop, satisfied with their LXP, which over 750,000 people also have? Aren’t they looking for something that sets them apart? Something that gives them an edge over others? After all, more than 750,000 people also have LXP, even if in different amounts. It’s also worth noting that there will probably be other criteria and bonuses.

I think airdrop based on transactions like arbitrum is way passed overdue, since there is bots that automates those transactions. I think linea focus more on LXP is a better idea. Since the beginning users were welcome to participate in LXP events, there is no excuse for users to not get the LXP. Keep in mind that loyal users also depend on the ecosystem of the project if the project has good ecosystem, people will come and users will stay or will even hold linea token for long term. Thts just my opinion, i respect ur opinion.
