I support tier system but 1000 LXP range is too broad. I suggest 500 LXP range to assign fair distribution.

A truly committed user will support the tier solution.
A user who cared about getting as much lxp as possible with xx wallets without doing due diligence will choose a linear solution.

Talking about the Gas fee, pre Dencun and Nfts, he used it as multiplier or you can say boost users efforts and ecosystem involvement, However, for me, the primary focus was to meet the minimum 2000 LXP requirement for eligibility.
Even a user participated before pre Dencun, testnet / Mainnet phrase and completed quests, spent 100-200$ gas fee, it will be easy for him to achieve minimum 2000 LXP requirement. Also, after that gas fees slash significantly, Linea park and Szn fulfill most of his LXP requirements.
Linea Park and The Linea Culture SZN contributed significantly to LXP accumulation for every user.

Good proposal, the team can also include some other criterias like activity after lxp capaigns(those are more likely to keep using linea compared to those who stopped after lxp capaigns), metamsk card user etc…

In addition to wanting to distribute 150k tokens across 77k wallets and 40k tokens across 1.3k wallets in topic 1 (which is already incredibly unfair), you are also proposing to differentiate LXP by tiers in topic 2. Is a participant with 5,999 LXP that much worse than one with 6,000 LXP? Is someone who earned 2.5k LXP and bought 2 alpha NFTs better? This immediately makes the hybrid approach fundamentally flawed.
If you read carefully all the questions you asked are answered with clarity.

Every system requires cutoff points to function effectively. The 6,000 LXP tier is not just an arbitrary number but a structured benchmark that was set based on data analysis to ensure fair distribution.
and mind you the person with 5999 does not get the same rewards with someone with 5998 also 6000 does not get the same allocation with someone with 6001.
Without clear thresholds, the model would lose its integrity, leading to ambiguity and potential disputes over where the line should be drawn.

However, I believe someone like me with 5900 LXP should not be considered to be in the same tier as someone with 5000 LXP. I believe 500 LXP tiers are much fairer.

i think rewarding community (NFT’s + Memecoins) active users would be pretty Ideal.
