From ETH Normie to Maxi
I was class ’17 but also an ignorant Ethereum normie — the kind we’re all trying to onboard these days
Linea actually did it. They onboarded me with their unique tech and long-term vision.
Raised in toxic crypto communities (ETH killers, BTC killers), I was too skeptical and hesitant to truly dive into Ethereum and its ecosystem — held back by builder lingo, complex tech, Fox UI/UX, and of course, gas fees.
Back then, I was asking “Who’s not gonna scam me?”
Now I ask “Who’s building the best?”
Most people might not like it, or may have just joined to farm — but the educational campaigns you organized genuinely helped me and completely shifted my perspective.
They even gave me the confidence to identify core problems and contribute ideas around Ethereum :
value capture, DA , proving methods, adoption, alignment, ZK, LBC… I still can’t believe I’m part of these conversations.
Last year I found myself building innovative identity practices with the huge help of giants like ENS, Linea, and Efrogs — that’s insane.
Especially to the cryptography team who’ve processed 5 billion cells, almost one by one — I’m deeply grateful to every member and contributors.
Let’s scale Ethereum.
Happy birthday, and thank you, Linea.
