Chasing down EIP-6780 SELFDESTRUCT Changes loose ends.

  • Does Linea depend on the ether burn from a SELFDESTRUCT to self? See github
    ethereum/EIPs/pull/7308 for context (sorry, it won’t let me post links)

Since you are arithemtizing Besu trie logs I don’t expect much difference between mainnet opcodes, but I want to be clear.

Hi @shemnon let me check please. Btw what does “depend on the ether burn” mean?

@shemnon it’s currently the same behavior as mainnet with London EVM version
