Can't join discord server - captcha doesn't show attachment

When I go to the discord invite link it asked me to go through captcha verify, but captcha never shows the attachment:

“Click to see attachment” does nothing?

Turns out if you have this setting turned off, all future captchas for new servers are invisible. So you have to turn it on, do captcha, turn it back off:
