good to meet on common ground

Thanks, I really like your Hybrid model and i just shared this to draw attention about recent situation affter nansen’s report and some linear proposal that came out from nowhere

I really like your proposal, and from what I’ve seen in various posts and comments, the vast majority prefer a tiered distribution. A tiered system is ideal — the best approach is to combine everything into one and create a “tier” system, as you mentioned in the “bonuses” section. Each criterion would help you move up a tier to a higher allocation. I believe Linea will make the best decision and focus on real users who have actively engaged with the network as a whole — not those who just accumulated 1500 LXP and abandoned it. A tiered system is the best approach. Also, great job on the proposal, excellent topic!

100%! stop pushing ideas that encourage sybils

I manually reviewed the first 10,000 wallets on the LayerZero Sybil List.
Am I crazy? I don’t think so—I just care deeply about Linea

First, let me clarify that I’m not fully familiar with LayerZero’s criteria, nor am I suggesting that a wallet flagged as Sybil by L0 should automatically be considered Sybil on Linea.

:pushpin: My intention here is purely to share information.

In the first 10,000 wallets of LayerZero’s Sybil list, which includes 800,000 wallet addresses,
I found over 700 wallets with POH (Proof of Humanity) still verified, and I archived their addresses.

While filtering, I mainly focused on wallets holding more than 500 LXP, so I can say that 99% of these 700 wallets have more than 500 LXP.

Here’s the percentage breakdown based on my observations:

  • 40%: 500–1500 LXP
  • 35%: 1500–3500 LXP
  • 15%: 3500–5500 LXP
  • 10%: 5500+ LXP

I would be thrilled if community members with software expertise could analyze this list using more practical tools and methods :slightly_smiling_face:

I think it will be good to expand the list with layerzero list.
I think Niklas from Nansen on the AMA talked about revising layer zero list and adding it to the sybil list.

Linea recently shared data in the community chat about how much LXP was removed from sybils. Are you planning to update your calculations? Your proposal for the airdrop was really solid just wanted to mention that!

Thank you. The data should be the same

but i made some roundups around appeals like this

I updated it as well, you can check, the main thing is the model, other parameters can be adjusted by the team accordingly to the available data.

it could be good to see an extra filtering for those wallets in L0 sybil list that also holds LXP

Thank you.
This part is important IMO. As we get closer to TGE people want to talk about allocations and make calculations around it, in order to be able to do that they need the latest data so new token could be useful bcs LXP is SBT. These public calculations on X can create some hype too

Dencun lol
In the end, this all doesn’t matter since only we read this and care. Most likely the drop will be a complete disaster and will brick the chain even more than the LXP-L program.

Bonuses may delight sybils.
Most fulfil these criteria, but overall it is a successful proposal.

You are absolutely right mate, it is sad to see the calculations made by the phenomena according to their multi wallets…I think Linea management will not take them into consideration.

Yes you are right, but for some bonus criterias team could have take a SS from the past

  • for example we had SOVS mint (which is very important for me). It announced on 14th November, last time i checked it was only had 120.000 mints so team could say

we took a snapshot for SOVS on 14th December 2024

On its first month I assume it was under 50.000 mints and this number is around %6-7 of total POH verified wallet addresses + for those who minted within the first month

there could be some wallets thats flagged by Nansen’s latest filtering.

Also this kind of bonus criterias can be exclusively filtered for clusters/bulks.

I read a post today about someone from the team working on the Layerzero sybil list.
I hope they can pull it off.

Obviously, instead of simple criteria like SOVS, there should be more challenging criteria.

You should discuss good criteria less publicly

Thank you. Just wondering can sybils time travel/block travel ?
