🧩 Building an Anonymous Anti-Corruption Platform on Linea

Where Zero-Knowledge Meets Zero-Tolerance

Corruption thrives in the shadows.
We’re building a way to bring light without burning identities.

:globe_showing_europe_africa: The Vision

Our project started from a simple but bold question:
“What if we could report corruption without revealing who we are?”

In many parts of the world, especially in developing countries like Nepal, reporting corruption is risky. Whistleblowers face social, political, or even physical retaliation. Most people stay silent not because they don’t care—but because they don’t feel safe.

We wanted to change that.

So, we’re building an anti-corruption platform that functions like a social network, but with one key difference:
:backhand_index_pointing_right: Everyone is anonymous.
Yet, every report is verifiable and immutable.

:locked: How It Works: Privacy Meets Proof

Our system blends ZKPs (Zero-Knowledge Proofs), blockchain transparency, and Tor-based anonymity to ensure trust without exposure.

Here’s the flow:

  1. Identity Verification (ZKP) –
Users verify their citizenship using zero-knowledge proofs, meaning they can prove they are legitimate citizenswithout revealing their personal data.

  2. Anonymous Reporting –
The platform provides a secure form to submit details like location, category, and description of incidents. No IP tracking. No metadata leaks.

  3. Evidence Upload via Tor –
Users can upload encrypted evidence files (documents, photos, recordings) through the Tor network, ensuring complete anonymity.

  4. Tracking Code System –
Each report generates a unique hex tracking code, allowing the reporter to check the case progress without logging in.

:brain: Behind the Scenes: The Architecture

We’re building this system with an end-to-end encrypted architecture powered by a React Native mobile app and Django backend, supported by PostgreSQL, Redis, and ElasticSearch.
Security is layered, not linear:

  • Cloudflare CDN for DDoS protection and rate limiting.

  • Signal Protocol for secure communications.

  • ZKP verification through Ethereum smart contracts.

  • AI/ML pipeline for spam detection, sentiment analysis, and priority scoring.

  • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) for admin workflows.

The platform also includes audit logs, compliance layers, and anomaly detection systems to ensure no data tampering, no unauthorized access, and full transparency of every action taken by administrators.

:gear: Why Linea?

When we started designing this platform, one thing was clear traditional infrastructure can’t guarantee both privacyand transparency at scale.

That’s where Linea comes in.

Linea’s zkEVM provides an ideal foundation for our system. It allows us to:

  • Store hashed evidence proofs immutably.

  • Use ZK circuits for verification without exposing sensitive data.

  • Maintain gas efficiency for scalability in developing regions.

  • Enable future integration with on-chain identity protocols and DAO-based governance.

Linea isn’t just another blockchain it’s the layer where privacy-preserving innovation can actually scale.
We’re proud to build on a chain that aligns with our core philosophy:
“Transparency for systems, privacy for people.”

:nepal: Beta Launch in Nepal

Our first testing phase is rolling out in Nepal a country where the call for digital transparency is louder than ever. The goal is to create a safe digital infrastructure for citizens, journalists, and investigators to report misconduct fearlessly.

Every report, once validated, will be processed through a secure admin interface powered by AI-assisted scoring and escalation workflows. Verified cases can even be securely transferred to government oversight bodies through an encrypted API channel.

:compass: The Bigger Picture

This is not just an app.
It’s an experiment in trustless governance proving that blockchain and zero-knowledge tech can fight real-world corruption, not just track token transfers.

We’re not building a system to expose people.
We’re building a system to expose systems safely, securely, and anonymously.

When we talk about “on-chain transparency,” it’s usually about finance.
We’re extending that to accountability.

:light_bulb: Closing Thoughts

Corruption has always relied on fear and silence.
We believe privacy tech can be the antidote—empowering people to speak up without risking their safety.

Linea’s zk infrastructure makes this possible.
With zero-knowledge, we can finally verify truth without exposing identity.

As a proud Linea builder, I genuinely believe this is what Web3 was meant for not just speculation, but systemic transformation.

This is where the fight for transparency begins.
And it starts on Linea. :high_voltage::fox:

For me, this is one of the most positive usages of Linea and ZKProofs! I eagerly wish this can be used for the best of all nations and people! I’ll be following this closely. Best of success and congrats for the idea!!
