I think it would be good to give small bonus for wallets which have not withdraw the liquidity after completion of Surge. There are thousands projects which give incentive for liquidity, and loyal Linea users chose to stay in Linea. This can also be a good parameter to detect sybils.

There are rules, they are transparent and clearly stated. If the team didn’t mention multiplyers for holding liquidity after the end of Surge it’s completely their fault and your fault for believing in such speculation.
The team is not stupid, capital always moves towards the best opportunity costs on the market, so freezing your liquidity with deep hopes your speculation will play is a gamble. You’re not supposed to be rewarded for your own desire to earn extra rewards, it wasn’t stated in the rules and it’s the deal. Linea isn’t about LRT, it’s a big blockchain. And there weren’t thousands of projects rewarding liquidity providers after deadlines as you say, most of them are LRT protocols, the main goal of which is to absorb liqiudity and work with it, it’s their main mechanism, not like in Linea, where Surge is just another side event
